Tore Sandvoll

Jarle Grinderud

Managing Director Tore Sandvoll will retire in mid-2023 after 35 years of service . His successor comes from our own ranks : Finance Director Jarle Grinderud will take over as Managing Director of Endress + Hauser Norway on 1 January 2023 .

Tore Sandvoll has played an active role at Endress + Hauser Norway for 35 years , and since 1992 has been managing director of the sales center that was founded by Georg H Endress in 1973 . Mr . Sandvoll has successfully led the company even through difficult times with great commitment and continuously developed the market , earning recognition from customers and employees . Besides the strong Norwegian oil & gas business , he succeeded in diversifying sales and service activities to support sustainable growth . Under his far-sighted leadership , the number of employees has risen from around a dozen to 29 today .

In the interest of continuity , we made efforts to find a successor at an early stage . After interviews with internal and external candidates , we can announce that the current finance director Jarle Grinderud has accepted this challenge with effect from 1 January 2023 .

As a successor from within our own ranks , he brings with him the best prerequisites to further develop the company together with the team . In his new role , he will report to John Salusbury , Corporate Sales Director of Sales Area D .

Mr Grinderud is 51 years old , married and has four children . An expert in tax law , he started his career working for the National Tax Agency before moving to the private sector as an auditor and management consultant in 1998 . In 2004 , he joined Endress + Hauser Norway as finance director . In this role he is also responsible for human resources and is an important pillar in the project and service business . Two years ago , he obtained an MBA degree from the Norwegian School of Economics .

We are pleased that this solution ensures a seamless transition and wish Jarle Grinderud every success in his new role . We thank Tore Sandvoll for his exemplary commitment , his great loyalty and his willingness to support the team in Norway with his experience until mid- 2023 . We already wish him all the best for his retirement .
