New contact point for customers in the Middle East
The new Middle East headquarters has opened in Dubai
Not a fairy tale from One
Thousand and One Nights,
but a festive opening: At the
beginning of March, the new
contact point for customers
from all over the Middle East
was inaugurated in Dubai. The
new Middle East headquarters
is located in the Dubai Science
Park Towers.
This means that the
contact persons from Phoenix
Contact are much easier for
their customers and partners
to reach, since they are now
located much more centrally.
The modern and prestigious
office buildings offer a
much better infrastructure,
both in the classic physical
sense and in terms of IT
networks. In addition, the new
headquarters is equipped
with a showroom which not
only showcases the latest
products, but also their
application, using current
solution examples.
The General Manager of
Phoenix Contact Middle East,
Iyad Madanat, emphasizes
that the new premises
creates the right framework
for the further development
of Phoenix Contact in the
booming region of the Middle
East, and will for at least the
next ten years.

Growing against the trend
Electromobility defies sales crisis
Crisis in the automotive
industry? Not an issue for
E-Mobility. The production
area in Schieder has recently
been expanded again in order
to cope with the still-current
backlog of orders and in
preparation for new tasks (see
also page 10 ff.).
Of course, the decline
in orders from automotive
companies has not left the
e-mobility subsidiary of
Phoenix Contact unscathed.
But thanks to the broad
product portfolio, which
ranges from charging
infrastructure to components
on and in the vehicle, such
fluctuations are not a major
problem. On the contrary, it
is to be expected that the
general shift in mobility
towards renewable energies
will gain momentum even
faster. The production site in
Schieder is already prepared
for this.
